What is your idea of earthly happiness?

Passing through the invisible bubble of sugar and butter that protects the adjacent sidewalk of a pie shop on 43rd St in Manhattan. On a cold winter day, the smell is so thick I can taste it. But then I step beyond the 7 ft peripheral boundary by just an inch, and it disappears, leaving me with the hallucinogenic sense that I’m being followed by unicorns.

Who are your favorite heroes/heroines of fiction?

Ulysses, aka Odysseus

Who or what would you have liked to be?

I would like to have been an astronaut. Given that I’m terrible at math and science and have horrible vision, when I grow up, I would like to have frequent flier miles on Virgin Galactic instead.
